Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress that has appeared in multiple television series. She also excels in the field of film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American Television. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after visiting her older sister Katie on one of Katie's movies. As soon as she began to realize that acting was her love, she began to take acting lessons and auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were however, she was eventually selected as a child actress on the Canadian TV horror series Are You Fearful of the Darkness? It was the only scene that she didn't talk. The WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. The show ended up being cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his TV show Everwood. Emily is also a professional dancer, a photographer and was named as among the top 20 Teen's actors. Emily was listed as number 51 in Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
