Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office The Office, for which she received the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from the Ensemble Comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she lived her entire childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne was a performer in dramas at church in her younger years which sparked an enthusiasm for theatre.
Fischer was a theater actress trained in her native country. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower. It was an absurdist comedic piece opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for an unprecedented time at the Old Globe Theatre.
The Office's Angela Kinsey (the character mate to Fischer) as well as her actual best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and has landed in the Top Ten every single week. In its initial year, it had more than 200,000,000 downloads. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in the month of January in 2021.
She's the author of The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide (coauthored by Angela Kinsey) The book tells her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood as a professional actress is narrated.
